The Gosford Challenge And the Winner is....... The Cox Group On the advice of the formal Evaluation Panel (informed by the equally unanimous recommendations of all particpating stakeholders and independent assessors), Joint Project Sponsors Gosford City Council and NSW Lands appointed The Cox Group Pty. Ltd. as the Strategic Design Partner for The Gosford Challenge. "The unanimity of the decision masked the closeness of the contest" declared Brett Phillips, of NSW Lands, Joint Project Director. "At the end of Day 2 (the close of Crawford UDA's presentation) the bar was set higher than any of us might have imagined in advance." Gosford Council's Joint Project Director, Colleen Worthy-Jennings, agreed. "It was always going to take something special but, after Day 4, the consensus was the Cox Group had achieved just that, edging out their rivals." "But, make no mistake" added Worthy-Jennings, "The Crawford UDA team made real friends here." "I think I would speak for every one who participated in these workshops in saying that each and every one of the Crawford UDA team would be given a harty welcome back here on the Central Coast."
