The Spring Into Gosford 2011 Competition is YOUR chance to win BIG!!!

With six $1000.00 shopping sprees,  plus a 47” LCD TV, a cabinet to suit and a modular lounge suite with ottoman to be won over a 4 week competition period, you would be INSANE not to enter!  Prize draws occur on the 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th September.

Customers will be entitled to one entry form for every $10 spent with a maximum of 12 entry forms in one transaction. Naturally, this rewards people who spend more. A good time to stop saving for a little while and start spending !

Fill in your entry form and place it in the barrels located at Imperial Shopping Centre or William Street Mall during the competition period.

Entry forms will be distributed to participating stores in Gosford and two, $200 prize winners, drawn each week of the four week period. The shopping spree winners will be drawn Friday, 30th September. 

The first winner drawn from the barrel on that day will win the LCD TV and cabinet and a modular lounge suite with an ottoman.  You can even select your own colour from the range at Nik & Jane’s Furniture Bedding Express in Erina!

The next 6 entries drawn from the barrel will win a $1,000 shopping spree. The winners will be advised by telephone and mail and will be instructed they must conduct their one hour, $1,000 shopping spree, on Saturday 8th October at 11am. The shopping spree winners will have one week to look around Gosford to put their shopping list together and then on the day of the shopping spree each winner will be allocated a shopping assistant to help you spend big!

On Saturday 8th October, in conjunction with the day of the shopping spree and the Gosford City Markets, shoppers will have the chance to share in $3,000 cash from the money machine in Kibble Park.  Customers making a purchase of $10 or more in Gosford City between 9am and 12noon on 8th October will be eligible to enter the draw.

Customer entries will be drawn randomly from the barrel.  Winners must be present at the draw as they will be given the chance to spend 30 seconds each in the money machine to grab their share of $3,000 in cash. Winners will be drawn until all the money in the machine has been won.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY - Spring into Gosford

  1. Entry to the competition is open to all residents of NSW except contractors, employees or directors of Gosford Business Improvement District Association, the proprietors and staff of companies involved in the production, publishing and administration of this promotion.
  2. Employees of participating businesses in Gosford City Centre are eligible to enter provided that proof of purchase displaying the valid promotion dates is attached to the entry form. Employees cannot enter with purchases made from their store of employment. For employees to enter, purchases must be from an alternate participating retail store in Gosford.
  3. The promotion starts at 9am on Thursday 1st September and ends at 1.00pm on Friday 30th September 2011.
  4. A weekly prize draw will take place at William Street Mall, Gosford, and Imperial Shopping Centre, Gosford, at Centre Court at 1.05pm on9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th September. The first complete, correct and legible entry drawn from each of the entry barrels at each prize draw will be deemed the winner of the $200 Gosford City weekly cash prize. The total value of the weekly prize draws is $1,600.00.
  5. The weekly prize-winners will be notified by telephone and mail, have their names listed on the website for Gosford Business Improvement District at www.gosfordcity.com.au and their names will be published in the Central Coast Express Advocate on the Wednesday immediately following the weekly prize draw.
  6. The winners of the $200 weekly draw may collect their prize from the office of the Gosford Business Improvement District Association at 200 Mann Street, Gosford between the hours of 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
  7. The major prize draw will take place at 1.05pm on 30th September 2011. All entry forms will be entered into 1 common barrel at Imperial Shopping Centre at the close of the competition in readiness for the major prize draw. The first complete and legible entry drawn from the barrel will win a modular chaise lounge suite with ottoman valued at $1,999 and a 47” Bauhn LCD, full HD television valued at $799. The next 6 complete and legible entry forms drawn from the barrel will each win a $1,000 shopping spree. The shopping spree prizes will be awarded as $500 in  Imperial Shopping Centre gift vouchers and $500 in Gosford City Money Vouchers, which can be spent at participating stores in Gosford CBD.
  8. The winners of the $1,000 shopping sprees will be notified by telephone and mail, will have their names published on the GBID website and in the Central Coast Express Advocate newspaper on 5th October 2011. The winner’s of the $1,000 shopping sprees will be advised they must be present in Gosford city on Saturday 8th October 2011 to complete the shopping spree. The shopping spree will take place from 11am on 8th October 2011. Each of the shopping spree prize winners will be assigned a shopping assistant and must complete the shopping spree and deplete all prize money in one hour. If the prize winner is unable to attend the shopping spree on 8th October 2011, the prize winner can send a representative instead. The representative must have a letter of authority from the prize winner and must supply photo identification before conducting the shopping spree.
  9. Unless otherwise specified, the prizes are not redeemable for cash, not transferable and individual terms and conditions may apply.
  10. The major prize draw is valued at $8,798.00. The total prize pool is valued at $10,398.00. Prize values are quoted as recommended retail price.
  11. How to Enter Spring into Gosford for Cash & Prizes:
  • Customers are eligible for one entry form with every purchase or transaction of $10 to a maximum of 12 entry forms per transaction from participating retail, business and service outlets within Gosford CBD during the promotion period.
  • Write your details on the entry form and place it in the entry barrel on lower level Centre Court at Imperial Shopping Centre or the entry barrel in William Street Mall during the competition period for the chance to win.
  1. Customers may enter the competition more than once, however, in the event of winning a prize customers will be required to provide evidence of proof of purchases equivalent to the number of entries entered into the competition.
  2. A total of 60,000 entry forms are being printed.
  3. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  5. Any unclaimed prizes in the prize pool will be drawn from the remaining entries at 1pm on 11th  November 2011 from the barrel located at the office of Gosford Business Improvement District.
  6. Entries are invalid if illegible, forged or a copy of the original entry form, or if the minimum purchase requirement has not been met.
  7. Proof of identity and proof of purchase/purchases will be required when claiming a prize.
  8. If the customer chooses to accept the prize Gosford Business Improvement District Association reserves the right to use the winner’s name and photograph for marketing and publicity purposes.
  9. The customer’s consent is given to the promoter for holding, using and disclosing information about entrants for the research, marketing and promotional purposes of the promoter and its related companies. Please contact the promoter if you later wish to correct information it holds.
  10. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  11. If the winner is under the age of 18, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian.
