Mad Hatter's Tea Party

What a terrific time everyone had at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, on Saturday 8 April. The sun was shining, and there were kids a plenty, ready to enjoy the day.

The party kicked off at 10am, with rides, including the Cup and Saucer (what else?!), the chair swing, jumping castles and the little train that went all the way around the park. Gosford Cubbyhouse Child Care centre was on hand to keep the little ones amused with play-dough and other fun activities.

Once the Mad Hatter, and his good friends, Alice, the Queen of Hearts, the dozy doormouse and those twin clowns, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, arrived, the party really got started. We gave away 600 cupcakes and lollybags to eager children, aged between 2 and 8 years.

The Queen and the Hatter put on a terrific performance, as usual, and checked out the amazing hats, giving away lots of prizes to those with the maddest ones! Then, the music got underway, and everyone danced their way down the rabbit hole.

This event is one of our favourite parties that we have in Kibble Park, and we can hardly wait until next year to do it all again. Make sure you check out all of the photos from the day on the GBID Facebook Page.
